Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Excavation Laborer / Operator for a full-time, day-shift position in Utah County, Monday through Friday. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with an initial 3-month temporary period. The ideal candidate has knowledge and experience in general excavation and dirt work, including operating compactors, assisting with grade rod work, shoveling, and basic dirt work. Candidates must be punctual, dependable, safety-minded, and ready to work every day.
Responsibilities
- Perform general excavation and dirt work.
- Operate compactors as needed.
- Hold or assist with a grade rod.
- Perform shoveling and basic dirt work.
- Arrive on time, ready for work, and follow required safety procedures.
Requirements
- Previous experience and knowledge in dirt work and excavation.
- Experience with general excavation and basic dirt work.
- Knowledge of operating compactors.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Must complete required safety training before starting on site.
- Must pass a drug screen and background check before starting on site.
