Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily restaurant operations, including managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining quality standards.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve restaurant performance and profitability.
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
1- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and timely manner.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of the food industry, including food handling, food service management, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities to handle various responsibilities simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and staff.
- Problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during daily operations.
- Proficient in using restaurant management software or POS systems.
Slurping Turtle introduces a culinary twist on traditional Japanese ramen and sushi dishes by blending the culture and palate of Japan with the spirited personalities of the chefs in our kitchen. Originally opening the concept in Chicago in 2011 and expanding to Ann Arbor in 2014, Slurping Turtle combines unique ingredients, recipes and presentation in addition to making homemade ramen noodles in house.
The turtle symbolizes longevity and good luck in Japanese culture. While enjoying ramen, you are encouraged to slurp your noodles as a polite gesture of enjoyment. The Slurping Turtle is a sign of the harmonious relationship we strive to create with our food and our guests.
