Job Description

In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of maintenance needs to keep our apartment community operations running smoothly. Your maintenance expertise and proactive approach will contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment that supports our community. Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and preventative maintenance at our apartment homes to ensure optimal operation
- Troubleshoot and repair appliances, air conditioning HVAC units, plumbing, and electrical systems, to resolve issues efficiently
- Conduct repairs on various equipment including motors, pumps, compressors, and electrical systems with precision and efficiency
- Complete work orders, turn, make readies etc. in appropriate time frame
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts inventory using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to ensure compliance and facilitate future servicing
- Respond promptly to equipment failures or system malfunctions to minimize downtime and operational disruptions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and emergency on calls to resolve issues promptly and efficiently
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in a maintenance role within property maintenance
- Strong maintenance knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair, plumbing and electrical, and HVAC systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to mechanical work and equipment handling
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations within all aspects of property maintenance
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks and inventory management
- Availability to work weekends and do emergency on calls
- Excellent communication skills in both English, both written and verbal
- Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
- Detail oriented and ability to multi-task is required
- CPO certification and experience required
- On-call rotation availability required
- EPA certification highly preferred
