CNC Operator

This is a Direct-Hire role: We are recruiting CNC Machine Operators for one of Rochester’s fastest-growing CNC machining companies. The company manufactures precision components for the aerospace, defense, and medical industries and has made significant investments in a new facility and modern capital equipment.

Shifts:

• First Shift: 6:00 AM–3:45 PM
• Second Shift: 3:45 PM–1:30 AM
• Second shift receives a 10% shift differential
• Frequent overtime is available

Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC mills or lathes in a precision machining environment
• Load and unload parts, change tools, and monitor machine performance
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other measuring instruments
• Make basic offsets and adjustments to maintain quality requirements
• Read job travelers, blueprints, and work instructions
• Follow all quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures

Qualifications:

• Previous CNC operating or machining experience
• Experience with CNC mills, lathes, or similar manufacturing equipment
• Ability to read blueprints and use basic inspection tools
• Aerospace, defense, medical, or other tight-tolerance machining experience is preferred
• Comfortable working overtime as needed
