Senior Digital Key Engineer

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Strong experience with CCC Digital Key architecture and implementation
• Hands-on experience with NFC, BLE, and UWB
• Experience with vehicle access systems and smartphone-to-vehicle communication
• Strong debugging and root cause analysis across hardware, embedded software, and mobile application layers
• Experience with protocol and timing analysis
• Proficiency with tools such as Vector CANoe, CANalyzer, Wireshark, BLE sniffers, UWB/NFC analyzers, and oscilloscopes
• Strong knowledge of CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet
• Experience with iOS and Android interoperability testing
• Understanding of PKI, Secure Elements, GlobalPlatform, and asymmetric cryptography
• Experience with Python or CAPL for test automation
• Ability to work independently and guide/mentor engineering teams

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Apple Wallet, Google Wallet, or Samsung Wallet
• Experience with HIL testing
• Exposure to CCC plugfests, working groups, or compliance certification programs

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or a related technical discipline
