Equipment Operator

Responsibilities and Duties

• Safely operate or maintain the various types of heavy equipment required such as Mobile excavators, rollers, Bobcats, front end loaders, and miscellaneous construction equipment
• Street panel removal, ditching, trenching, and hoisting
• Perform equipment pre and post inspections
• Understand plan grades as required
• Distinguish between material types and moisture content of various soil types
• Maintain a clean cab
• Use hand tools as needed (concrete materials, shovel, broom )
• Attend and participate in daily and or weekly safety meeting
• Perform construction related work as required

Qualifications and Skills

2 years of Rubber Tire Mobile Excavator Operator experience required.

Must have rubber tire mobile excavator experience
