Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 Trauma Center's peripheral and neuro IR department, requiring ARRT(R) certification and neuro IR experience.
Details
- Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call team of 6-8 staff members
- On-call required after 5pm daily and weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
- 13 to 26 week contract options available
Requirements
- ARRT(R) certification required, ARRT(VI) preferred
- BLS certification required
- SC Radiography State License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- EPIC EMR experience preferred, minimum 1 year if applicable
- Teaching hospital and Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Skilled in interventional radiology equipment operation and maintenance, including PACS
- Additional experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER patient populations is a plus
Additional Information
- Neuro interventional radiology experience needed
- Floating to other qualified units or campuses may be required based on census needs
- Orientation occurs every Monday with annual compliance requirements
