Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to provide comprehensive speech, language, and swallowing therapy in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as facility guidelines. This role involves patient evaluation, treatment planning, and delivering therapy to enhance communication and swallowing functions.
Responsibilities- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans tailored to patient needs.
- Document services provided in compliance with regulations and facility standards.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and their families.
- Maintain adherence to all infection control and safety protocols.
- Master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA).
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Excellent communication and clinical problem-solving skills.
