Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a peripheral and neuro IR unit at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring ARRT R certification and neuro IR experience.
Details
- Peripheral and neuro interventional radiology department at a Level 1 Trauma Center
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday
- Varied 8-hour day shifts starting between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
- Weekend coverage supported by a rotating call schedule among 6 to 8 staff members
- On-call responsibilities after 5:00 PM daily and on weekends, supported by primary and backup call techs
- 13 to 26 week contract options available
- Epic EMR preferred
Requirements
- ARRT (R) certification required, ARRT (VI) preferred
- BLS certification required
- SC Radiography State License required if applicable
- Minimum 1 year of experience required
- 1 year minimum experience with Epic EMR required
- Level 1 Trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
- Experience with NICU, Peds, Trauma, and ER settings preferred
- Proficiency operating PACS equipment
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures in a peripheral and neuro-focused IR unit
- May be required to float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
- Orientation held every Monday with annual compliance training required
- First-time travelers will be considered
