Caregiver/CNA

• Personal care: Helping with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Meal support: Preparing meals, helping with feeding if needed, and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration.
• Medication reminders: Reminding the person to take prescribed medications on schedule, if allowed by care guidelines.
• Household tasks: Light cleaning, laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and keeping the living area safe and organized.
• Companionship: Talking, listening, providing emotional support, and helping reduce isolation.
• Transportation and errands: Taking the person to appointments, shopping, or community activities.
• Health observation: Watching for changes in mood, appetite, behavior, mobility, or overall condition and reporting concerns to family or healthcare professionals.
• Safety support: Preventing falls, assisting with transfers, checking home hazards, and responding appropriately in emergencies.
• Record keeping: Noting meals, medications, appointments, symptoms, or changes in condition when required.
• Respect and dignity: Protecting privacy, encouraging independence, and treating the person with patience and respect.
