Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification for a night shift assignment.
Details
- Rotates through adult and pediatric acute care, outpatient, and emergency department settings
- Performs abdomen and pelvis, head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, and chest CT studies
- Performs special procedures including coronary CTA, CT arthrography, and vascular CTA
- Uses Philips and Toshiba CT equipment
- Utilizes Epic charting system
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 19:00 to 7:00
- Works Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with no call requirement
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
- ARRT (CT) and ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- TMB MRT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
- Epic charting experience required
- Proficient in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Venipuncture skills preferred
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE
Additional Information
- Responsible for image display and post-processing, including region of interest (ROI) measurement
- Facility conducts its own onsite drug screen upon arrival, which includes marijuana testing, and a positive result results in automatic cancellation
- Candidates should avoid CBD products and other substances that could result in a positive drug screen
- Travel experience is highly preferred though not required
- Local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility
