JOB REQUIREMENTS

Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of residency
Licenses: Licensed in CA
DEA: Yes
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP
Experience: Neonatology experience preferred; Pediatric hospitalist background
Other Qualifications: Clean malpractice history; no restrictions or drug issues

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide inpatient pediatric and neonatal hospitalist coverage, managing 80% NICU and 20% pediatric patients.
Perform neonatal airway management including intubation, resuscitation, and management of air leak/pneumothorax.
Perform emergent procedures such as UVC/UAC placement, lumbar puncture, and needle decompression.
Manage neonatal ventilators and provide respiratory support as needed.
Collaborate with ED and anesthesia for pediatric patients requiring chest tubes or intubations.
