Medical Disability Evaluator (NP/PA/MD/Psych D)

Job Type: 1099 / Independent Contractor
Location: Fort Polk, LA
Schedule: 2-5 days per week based on availability

Summary

We are seeking experienced MDs or DOs to perform disability compensation evaluations. This is an evaluation-only position focused on conducting clinical assessments, reviewing medical

information, and preparing accurate medical opinions.

There is no prescribing, active treatment, or ongoing patient care involved.

Schedule

• 8-hour sessions

• Weekdays and weekends available

• 2-5 days per week

• Flexible based on provider availability

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough disability compensation evaluations.

• Review relevant medical records and clinical information.

• Document findings accurately using standardized templates.

• Provide evidence-based medical opinions and causation assessments.

• Ensure reports meet federal, state, and organizational requirements.

• Conduct assessments through virtual telehealth platforms when applicable.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted Medical License.

• MD, DO, MSN or PsyD degree

• Active, unrestricted professional license in the state of residence.

• Board Eligible or Board Certified, as applicable.
