Safety Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct jobsite safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments.

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and preventative measures.

• Provide safety training and promote proper PPE usage.

• Investigate accidents/incidents and recommend corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

• Maintain safety records, reports, and required documentation.

• Evaluate equipment and work processes for safety compliance.

• Support emergency response planning and first-aid procedures.

• Lead safety meetings and coordinate safety initiatives with field teams and management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or related field preferred.

• 5+ years of safety experience, preferably in commercial construction.

• CSP or similar safety certification preferred.

• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management systems.

• Experience conducting inspections, audits, investigations, and safety training.

• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

• Willingness to travel to jobsites throughout the U.S.
