Travel School-Based Registered Nurse (RN) - Big Lake, Minnesota

Core Qualifications:

• Valid RN or LPN/LVN licensure, eligible for Minnesota school placement
• Prior experience in a school environment or pediatric care highly valued
• Demonstrated strength in tube feeding, oxygen management, and medication administration
• Skilled in using a Hoyer lift and stander (specific training provided)
• Homecare background is a plus, though not required
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to commit to a Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM schedule (per school calendar)
• Flexibility to cover additional Monday-only assignment for a high school student with similar nursing needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to a student on both the bus and at school
• Monitor and manage medical needs, including tube feeds and oxygen levels
• Safely assist in transfers using a Hoyer lift/stander
• Administer medications and respond promptly to health concerns
• Collaborate with educators and guardians for optimal student support
