We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Consultant to contribute to the continued improvement of a Workday Human Capital Management environment in Iowa City, Iowa. This Long-term Contract position focuses on analyzing business needs, shaping effective Workday solutions, and supporting enhancements that strengthen day-to-day HR operations. The ideal candidate brings strong functional knowledge of Workday and can partner with stakeholders to translate priorities into practical system outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with business leaders and end users to gather operational needs and turn them into well-defined Workday HCM solutions.
• Evaluate existing Workday processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend changes that increase efficiency and usability.
• Configure, test, and support enhancements within the Workday environment to align system capabilities with organizational goals.
• Create clear functional documentation, including business requirements, process flows, testing scenarios, and solution recommendations.
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of system updates and issue resolution.
• Lead user acceptance testing efforts by validating system changes, documenting outcomes, and confirming readiness for deployment.
• Monitor production performance, investigate reported problems, and help implement corrective actions to maintain reliable operations.
• Support ongoing optimization initiatives and contribute to future Workday-related projects as business priorities evolve.• 5+ years of experience working as a business analyst or consultant in ERP, CRM, or Workday-focused environments.
• Hands-on functional expertise with Workday HCM and familiarity with broader Workday ERP capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and translate findings into system recommendations.
• Experience preparing functional specifications, test plans, and other project documentation for enterprise applications.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership.
• Proven background supporting system enhancements, troubleshooting issues, and improving enterprise application performance.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced contract environment.
