Electronic Assemblers

LSI Staffing needs electronic assemblers and testers. $17.50/hr and up - 1st or  2nd shifts availble- apply now!
 I.  Job SummaryBuild simple and complex assemblies and sub-assemblies, including Circuit Boards, OBC’s, timer kits and other products using standard  process specifications.
 II. Minimum Qualifications Required 

1. Able to complete production work schedule with tight deadlines.
2. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and on paper using the English language.
3. Must be able to read and understand process specifications and other technical documentation.
4. Must be able learn to solder, operate hand tools, operate power tools.
5. Must be able to learn electronic components, ability to learn electronic color code.

 III.  Work Relationships 

1. Follows technical guidelines, process specifications, and work instructions from Manufacturing Engineering Department on essential job procedures.
2. Analyzes, communicates with appropriate associates and assists in the resolution of process problems.

IV.  Essential Job Functions
 

1. Assemble Printed Circuit Boards, OBC’s, timer kits, simple and complex assemblies to quality documentation.
2. Operate appropriate testers, soldering, cleaning, and sealing equipment, power tools, and hand tools required to complete job.
3. Monitor quality of all phases of process required to meet quality standards.
4. Maintain pace required to meet production schedule needs.
5. Communicate with Team Leaders, Production Managers, Maintenance, and Engineers concerning problems with equipment or products.
6. Perform daily maintenance on equipment as required by process specifications.
7. Read and understand blueprint/layout drawings in order to ensure quality products.
8. Help support overall goals  by doing other duties as assigned.

 V.  Additional Responsibilities 

1. Maintain organized workspace and documentation as required by company policies and procedures.
2. Maintain required production documentation.
