**Join Our Dynamic Radiology Team!** **Job Description:** - **Position Summary:** - Perform radiological exams safely and expertly to produce high-quality diagnostic images. - Create a welcoming environment for all patients. - **Essential Functions:** - Utilize technical factors effectively, such as kVp, mA, time, and distance. - Employ appropriate cassettes and collimation techniques. - Assist attending physicians during exams with proper positioning techniques. - Ensure patient safety through careful handling, evaluation, and transportation. - Understand and execute hospital protocols and examination guidelines. - Troubleshoot equipment and report issues to vendors when needed. - Conduct quality assurance on films and equipment. - Schedule exams and manage daily corrections or cancellations. - Adhere to infection control principles. - Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA regulations. - Participate in professional development through workshops and seminars. - Follow safety practices to prevent injuries to self and others. - Communicate courteously with team members and support groups. - Uphold professionalism and personal appearance standards while representing the organization. - **Work Environment:** - Collaborate closely with the Imaging team and various departments to provide complete patient care. - **Education & Experience:** - Enrolled in an American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) approved program. - Certification as Radiologic Technologist (RT) in Washington State. - Obtain ARRT(R) registration and CPR certification (Healthcare Provider level) within three months of hire. - **Skills/Competencies:** - Competency with department-specific equipment. - Strong critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills. - Accountability and safe judgment in decision-making. - Competency in patient care across various age groups. - **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally. - Frequent and prolonged standing/walking. - Capable of lifting, positioning, pushing, and transferring patients. - Manual dexterity and mobility to handle equipment effectively. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
