BHS Workforce is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a travel job in New York City, New York.

Requirements:
\n- \n
- Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program \n
- ARDMS certification required (specialty-specific: Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular, Echo, etc.) or CCI equivalent \n
- State licensure as applicable \n
- BLS certification required \n
- 1+ years of ultrasound experience required \n
- Proficiency with ultrasound equipment and PACS systems \n
Duties:
\n- \n
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams per physician orders across relevant specialty areas (abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, cardiac, etc.) \n
- Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment to obtain diagnostic quality images \n
- Analyze images in real time to ensure completeness and accuracy, adjusting technique as needed \n
- Recognize and document sonographic findings, flagging critical results to physicians promptly \n
- Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, troubleshooting technical issues as needed \n
- Educate patients on exam procedures and address concerns with sensitivity \n
- Accurately document exams and maintain patient records in RIS/PACS systems \n
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians on findings and follow-up imaging needs \n
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including proper equipment cleaning between patients \n
