Job Summary\n

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities\n

  • Administer care to pediatric patients in the CICU with a focus on open-heart procedures.
  • \n
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to execute care plans for critically ill pediatric patients.
  • \n
  • Adjust to floating assignments within Children's Hospital Colorado Anschutz Campus as needed to meet patient needs.
  • \n
  • Provide care following established standards, policies, and procedures of the unit.
  • \n
  • Participate in continuous education and remain current on nursing practices relevant to the PICU.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document all care provided effectively.
  • \n
Qualifications\n
    \n
  • Active Colorado RN License or Multi-State Compact License.
  • \n
  • BSN required; ADN accepted with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • \n
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
  • \n
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of staff RN experience in a CVPICU/Pediatric CICU Open Heart setting.
  • \n
  • Previous travel nursing experience required.
  • \n
  • Preferred: Pediatric CCRN certification and VAD experience.
  • \n
