Mammography Supervisor- Womens Imaging

Under the direction of the Women’s Imaging & Breast Care Services Manager with limited supervision and broad general directions, performs administrative duties of supervision within the department and is responsible for directing departmental activities, technologist staff, and ancillary personnel. Fiscal responsibilities include budget projections, financial variance analysis, and procedure coding. Participates and directs staff in Quality Control and Quality Assurance. Makes recommendations and assists Director in planning for new services, including vendor negotiations, architectural design, and program development. Maintains Policies and Procedures that adhere to applicable federal, state and local standards. Participates as a staff technologist when necessary. Areas of direct responsibility include: Mammography Department including stereotactic breast biopsy.
