***NEW STARTING RATES FOR CASUAL CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANTS - $22.00/HOUR***

The LGAR Health and Rehabilitation Center is a 4-Star, 60 bed Skilled Nursing Facility nestled in the hills of Turtle Creek in the eastern suburbs of Allegheny County. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide or assist with activities of daily living including meeting physical and psychosocial needs. Abide by organization policies, long term care regulations and standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, catheter care, oral hygiene, grooming of hair & nails and keeping the room tidy.
• Prepare, distribute and assist with resident meals.
• Monitor and record meal consumption.
• Distribute ice, water to the residents.
• Take height, weight and vital signs.
• Record and collect specimens.
• Document all provided care.
• Assist with admissions, orientation, discharge and transfer of residents.
• Answer call bells as needed.
• Document and report any new or unusual observations to the nurse.
• Assure resident dignity and privacy.
• Complete all other duties as assigned by manager or designee.
