Position Details:
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity
Location: Second Mesa Day School, Second Mesa, Arizona
Contract Term: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027
Current speech caseload of 7 students.
Additional hours available through:
Two immediate communication/language evaluations for 3rd-grade students.
Compensatory services owed to students.
Speech reevaluations, including one overdue evaluation requiring immediate attention.
The school has indicated that Thursdays are an ideal day for speech services and evaluations.
Who We’re Looking For
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in our school-based programs.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
Provide direct and indirect therapy services.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
Experience in a school-based setting (preferred)
Experience treating clients with Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
