Position Details:

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Opportunity
Location: Second Mesa Day School, Second Mesa, Arizona
Contract Term: September 1, 2026 – June 30, 2027

  • Current speech caseload of 7 students

  • Additional hours available through:

    • Two immediate communication/language evaluations for 3rd-grade students.

    • Compensatory services owed to students.

    • Speech reevaluations, including one overdue evaluation requiring immediate attention. 

  • The school has indicated that Thursdays are an ideal day for speech services and evaluations. 

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. As an SLP, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive speech and language therapy services to students in our school-based programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services.

  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals.

  • Collect and analyze data to monitor student progress.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)

  • State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist

  • Experience in a school-based setting (preferred)

  • Experience treating clients with Autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
