- Patient Volume/Census: Outpatient: 18-22 patients/day; Inpatient: varies based on consults
- Rounding: Yes, 1-2 hours daily
- EMR System: Meditech (20% EMR, 80% paper)
- Specialty Backup Available: Hematology/Oncology onsite
- Temporary Privileges Available: Yes
- Biopsies as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active RI license (or willingness to obtain); DEA; CSR
- DEA: Yes, required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Hematology/Oncology experience, or completion of a hem/onc rotation as a new graduate
- Provide full-time Hematology/Oncology care in a mix of outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Round daily on inpatients for 1-2 hours based on consult volume.
- See 18-22 outpatient patients daily.
- Perform biopsies as needed.
- Collaborate with on-site Hematology/Oncology specialists.
