What You’ll Do

• Create smooth, uniform outside radii using air tools.
• Improve micro-finishes in fillet radii and airfoil areas by removing cutter marks with deburring and finish wheels.
• Remove machine marks and belt scratches; repair and blend platforms, shrouds, radii, and airfoils.
• Use gauges to verify thickness; correct oversize conditions; manage stock removal and finish quality with the right wheel durometer and belt grit.
• Fix oversize/undersize conditions, relocate radii on existing airfoils, and handle small or hard-to-belt parts.
• Set up equipment with proper belts and wheels; interpret gauges; apply basic math to meet spec.

What We’re Looking For

• HS diploma or GED.
• Experience with hand tools and pneumatic tools.
• Comfort with basic mathematics and reading gauges against requirements.
• Proficiencies: Troubleshooting skills, hand tools, maintenance experience, manufacturing, mechanical experience.
