Our success is built on quality products, exceptional customer service, and the talented people who keep our operations running safely and efficiently every day.When you join our team, you'll enjoy:-Competitive Pay-Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance-401(k) with Company Match-Company-Paid Life Insurance-Paid Time Off & Holidays-Stable Manufacturing Environment-Opportunities for Skill Development & Growth-Safety-First CultureWhat You'll DoAs an Industrial Electrical Mechanic, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving the equipment that powers our steel drum manufacturing operation.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventive and predictive maintenance on production equipmentTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems up to 480VDiagnose issues involving:MotorsMotor controlsVariable Frequency Drives (VFDs)PLC I/O systemsInstall, modify, and maintain control wiring and electrical panelsRun conduit, pull wire, terminate connections, and build or modify electrical systemsTroubleshoot mechanical systems including:BearingsGearboxesPneumaticsHydraulicsRead, interpret, and update electrical schematics and control drawingsRespond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtimePerform welding and fabrication as neededDocument maintenance activities using our CMMS systemFollow all safety procedures, including LOTO, Arc Flash, and NFPA 70E requirementsAssist with continuous improvement projects to enhance equipment reliability and production performanceWhat Makes You a Great FitWe're looking for a hands-on technician who enjoys solving problems, working independently, and collaborating with production teams to keep operations running smoothly.Required Qualifications3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing preferred)Strong experience with:480V / 3-phase electrical systemsMotor controlsVFDsPLC I/O troubleshootingProven control wiring experience including:Running conduitPulling wireTerminating connectionsBuilding or modifying panelsAbility to read and update electrical schematicsWelding and fabrication experienceTechnical diploma, Journeyman card, or equivalent hands-on experienceAbility to lift 50+ pounds, climb, and work in confined spacesWillingness to work 1st or 2nd shift and overtime as neededPreferred QualificationsAllen-Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix troubleshootingAbility to perform minor PLC programming editsRobotics maintenance experienceExperience using predictive maintenance tools and technologiesNFPA 70E qualificationBuild Your Future With UsAt North Coast Container, your skills won't go unnoticed.
