Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)Minden Medical Center is looking for a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our nursing team!As a CNA, you'll play an important role in providing quality, hands-on care to our patients while working closely with licensed nursing staff. You'll help patients with their daily needs, promote a safe and therapeutic environment, and serve as a caring and supportive presence throughout their stay.What You'll DoProvide direct patient care and assist with activities of daily living.Support licensed nursing staff with routine patient care activities within the scope of your training and experience.Provide day-to-day custodial care and comfort to assigned patients.Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment.Monitor and communicate patients' medical and emotional needs to licensed nursing staff.Assist patients with their daily needs and respond to requests in a timely and compassionate manner.Work as an essential member of the nursing team to help ensure patients receive high-quality care.Float to other departments when needed and participate in on-call duties as required.What We're Looking ForRequired:Current CNA Certification or Patient Care Technician (PCT) certification.Preferred:One year of hospital or nursing home experience.Current AHA BLS certification.Why Join Minden Medical Center?At Minden Medical Center, every member of our team plays a vital role in caring for the people in our community.
