Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Welder to support frame fabrication and assembly. This role involves welding and installing components according to blueprints and production requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has welding experience or training, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work accurately in a manufacturing environment.
We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Welder to support frame fabrication and assembly. This role involves welding and installing components according to blueprints and production requirements while maintaining quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate has welding experience or training, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work accurately in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Install and time slide-out components.
- Weld brackets for jacks and slide-outs.
- Weld hitches onto frames.
- Check frame camber and ensure frames are square.
- Complete welding that cannot be performed by automated jigs.
- Read blueprints, use a tape measure, and perform basic measurements and math.
- Follow established safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Maintain an organized work area and meet production requirements.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Welding experience or welding education preferred.
- Manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math, including fractions.
- Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
- Lift and/or move items weighing 50+ pounds.
- Perform repetitive physical tasks in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires adequate vision, depth perception, and ability to distinguish colors.
Schedule:
- 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
Compensation:
- $22.00 - $24.00 per hour, based on experience
