Job Description
Summary: Under general direction, performs a variety of mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections of incoming and manufactured parts and components.

- Conduct mechanical, dimensional and visual inspections and analyses of incoming, work-in-progress, first article, finished parts and components using typical inspection hand measuring devices, coordinate measuring machines, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- Conduct inspections and evaluations as certified and required.
- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings, shop routers, manufacturing specifications and quality control documents.
- Create, organize and maintain QC/QA documentation.
- Knowledge of the Dongwon’s policies and procedures.
- Skill in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks and demands.
- Skill in working within deadlines to complete projects and assignments.
- Skill in identifying and recommending solutions to problems.
- Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relations with co-workers and other Dongwon employees.
Education, Experience, Certifications and Licenses:
- One (1) year experience as quality inspector. Helpful, but can be trained.
Environmental Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- May be required to lift items weighing up to 5 to 10 pounds.
- May be required to push or pull items weighing up 20 to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to stand for a long period of time.
- Must be able to do some bending and stretching when need.
