About the Role:

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) at Aspire Senior Living Moberly, you will play a vital role in our rehabilitation team. Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) will assist our licensed physical therapists in the implementation of personalized treatment plans for our residents, focusing on their functional ability, mobility, and overall well-being. Your expertise and compassionate care will help our residents achieve their recovery goals and live life to the fullest.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans

• Conduct screenings and assessments to identify resident needs and goals

• Implement various physical therapy interventions, including exercise programs, modalities, and other techniques

• Monitor and record resident progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of resident care and treatment

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers on physical therapy techniques and exercises

Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) studies.

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) in the state of Missouri

• Experience in physical therapy or related field preferred

• Ability to work varying shifts to support our therapy care

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
