Child Care Provider/ Nanny

About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities and play.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while adhering to dietary restrictions.
• Assist with homework and educational activities to promote learning.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for children at all times.
• Communicate regularly with parents about child’s progress and daily activities.
• Provide emotional support and guidance to foster a positive atmosphere.
• Organize outings and recreational activities to encourage social skills.
• Be flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the family.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a nanny or child care provider is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor.
• Ability to create engaging and educational activities for children.
• References from previous families or employers are required.
• Must pass a background check and have a valid driver’s license.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in child development is a plus.
