Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging studies per department protocols, including trauma cases, to obtain diagnostic-quality images
- Safely operate multi-slice CT scanners, optimize exposure factors, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Initiate IV access and administer contrast as ordered; monitor for adverse reactions and intervene as needed
- Document procedures and findings in the EPIC electronic health record; ensure accurate orders, scheduling, and image routing
- Collaborate with radiologists and the care team to meet patient care needs and uphold unit efficiency
- Be prepared to work every other weekend and 2 of the 4 major holidays as the schedule requires

Requirements
- Active ARRT CT certification
- Vermont license application to be completed at time of offer
- BLS certification
- EPIC experience within the past 2 years
- Experience in a similar-sized teaching facility; Philips experience preferred
- Must be able to scan traumas independently and start IVs (PIVs)
