The LGAR Health & Rehabilitation Center is a 60 bed Skilled Nursing Facility in the eastern suburbs of Allegheny County. We are currently seeking Certified Nursing Assistants to provide or assist with activities of daily living including meeting physical and psychosocial needs. Abide by organization policies, long term care regulations and standards of care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and assist residents with bathing, dressing, toileting, catheter care, oral hygiene, grooming of hair & nails and keeping the room tidy.
• Prepare, distribute and assist with resident meals.
• Monitor and record meal consumption.
• Distribute ice, water to the residents.
• Take height, weight and vital signs.
• Record and collect specimens.
• Document all provided care.
• Assist with admissions, orientation, discharge and transfer of residents.
• Answer call bells as needed.
• Assure resident dignity and privacy.
