Duties:

\tWe are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized aviation Quality Inspector to join the Product Inspection team.
\tThis role will be critical in monitoring full adherence to the various manufacturing and quality processes within our facility to ensure compliance with the stringent quality and regulatory standards in the aviation industry.
\tThe ideal candidate will be an inspector and technical expert who is passionate about process confirmation, manufacturing and operational excellence.
\tUses predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to inspect visually in-process and completed products such as electronic units and subsystems, precision electromechanical assemblies or mechanical units, subassemblies, structural flaws, internal defects, and missing welds.
\tUses various measuring devices.
\tAccepts, rejects, or reworks defective or malfunctioning units or systems.
\tWorks from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
\tMay monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
\tPerforms line clearances after each lot to ensure all materials from the previous lot have been removed.
\tWorking from drawings/CATIA, documents, process specifications, quality control requirements, software programs and test procedures; perform any inspection of parts, subassemblies and assemblies including processes and materials.
\tDimensionally inspect parts or assemblies.
\tInitiate and document any non-conforming materials, hardware, parts, assemblies or portions thereof, according to specifications, processes and procedures.
\tInspect vendor, subcontractor or company parts and assemblies.
\tFollows a pre-determined sequence of own work.
\tPrepare and maintain Quality records.
\tSupport the continuous flow of products within the manufacturing process by cross training and assisting other employees including cross-training in the Assembly Technician function or functions supported.
\tIn addition, each employee may be asked, on occasion, to complete other duties and responsibilities as required by Client leadership. Training and certification will be provided for the additional work when required.

Required Qualifications

\tMust be willing and able to work any shift.
\tMust be willing and able to work overtime.
\tMust be willing and able to work from motorized elevated platforms.
\tWorkKeys Assessment completion or High School Diploma/GED.

Skills:

\tMinimum of 3 years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering / methods, or a similar role within the aviation industry.

Preferred

\t5 years' experience in quality assurance, quality control, manufacturing operations, manufacturing engineering / methods, or a similar role within the aviation industry.
\tStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
\tStrong knowledge of aviation Quality Management Systems, Safety Management Systems, and FOD programs, preferably in manufacturing.
\tStrong written and verbal communication skills for interaction with internal teams through all levels of the organization and functions.
\tDemonstrated ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
\tHigh degree of flexibility and initiative.
\tEffective verbal and written communication skills, specifically in English, which is required for operating in a multicultural and multifunctional environment.
\tProficient in Manufacturing tools (MES) and quality management systems (QMS) used in manufacturing environments.
\tPreferred:Experience with aerospace-specific tools such as SAP and MES systems.
\tEducation:Associate's degree in Aviation, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred, but not required
\tPreferred:Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Quality Assurance, or a related field preferred.
