Shift: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: HealthTrust Program - Montrose Regional Health and no current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - Montrose Regional Health.

Additional Details:

3 separate interview times must be provided with each submission.

Required Skills/Experience: Current working knowledge of intensive care and neonatal intensive care, including EKG, ABG, spirometry, and oximetry.

Required Credentials: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy.

Unit Details: Performs respiratory care consults, RT procedures, ventilator management, bedside diagnostics, and outpatient diagnostics as needed. Provides oxygen therapy, aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, ABG sampling, medical gases, humidification systems, ventilator support, airway management, and intubation/tracheotomy assistance. Performs non-invasive ventilation therapies such as CPAP and BiPAP. Performs diagnostic testing including pulmonary function testing, electrocardiograms, electroencephalograms, and home sleep testing. Uses RT protocols and MD orders for therapy procedures and ventilator management. Includes inpatient hospital floor care and outpatient diagnostics.

Shift & Scheduling: Various rotating schedules. After-hours call, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
