Why This Role
  • Own setups on CNC milling centers and Swiss-type lathes for diverse part families.
  • Apply limited program edits and offset changes to meet exacting dimensional requirements.
  • Use calipers and micrometers to confirm quality without slowing production.
  • Collaborate and occasionally assist lower-level operators.
  • Work within established plant policies and safety rules.
When You’ll Work

Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:15 PM–1:45 AM

Must-Have Background
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3–5 years of CNC machining experience or a technical degree.
  • Proficiency reading blueprints, process routers, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Demonstrated fine motor skills for precision tasks.
Physical Demands & Vision
  • Mainly standing; limited seated work.
  • Occasional bending/twisting.
  • Move items up to 50 lbs between stations.
  • Sufficient visual acuity to identify subtle product non-conformities.

  • Blueprint reading and interpretation

What You’ll Do, Every Day
  • Read blueprints/routers to set up and run parts to spec.
  • Configure a CNC milling center or Swiss lathe to job requirements.
  • Make limited edits/offsets to maintain tolerance.
  • Measure frequently with calipers/micrometers and document results as needed.
  • Produce parts that meet all dimensional requirements while sustaining productivity.
