Job Description
Emerald Technologies is excited to welcome a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to our Brea, CA team! In this role, you’ll play a critical part in keeping our PCBA manufacturing operations running safely, efficiently, and reliably. You’ll service and maintain SMT equipment, troubleshoot facility and production machinery, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with safety and HAZMAT handling standards. Your work directly supports the quality and performance of the products we build for high‑reliability industries.

Responsibilities of the Maintenance Technician:
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on SMT machines and PCB assembly equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and facility‑related issues across production and building systems.
- Assist with the installation, setup, calibration, and integration of new SMT and manufacturing equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintain preventative maintenance schedules for equipment and facility systems.
- Perform basic facility maintenance, including electrical, plumbing, and general building repairs.
- Safely handle, label, store, and dispose of HAZMAT waste in compliance with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and external vendors to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement efforts.
