We are seeking an experienced Window Crew Lead to supervise and coordinate window installation crews on construction sites in Albany, ALB. This role is responsible for ensuring installations are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to quality standards.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong window installation experience, attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and coordinate effectively with project managers, suppliers, and other trades.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily window installation activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications.
• Train, mentor, and support window installation crew members.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety procedures, and building codes.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, schedules, and job-site activities.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and proper installation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve installation or job-site issues.
• Track work progress, materials, delays, and incidents.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and productive job site.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of window installation experience.
• Previous crew lead or supervisory experience in construction.
• Strong knowledge of window installation techniques, tools, and safety practices.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA or construction safety training.
• Experience with energy-efficient or specialty windows.
• Familiarity with construction scheduling or project management software.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Construction management training or certification.
