Pro Mechanical - Insulator Helper

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

• Carry materials, prepare surfaces to be insulated, and clean work area. 
• Assist Insulator with brushing adhesives on or attaching metal backed pipes. 
• Measure and cut insulation material to specified size and shape for covering flat or round surfaces using tape measure, knife, or scissors. 
• Assist in fitting, wrapping, or attaching required insulation material around or to structure. 
• Cover or seat insulation with specified material to secure insulation to the structure. 
• Follows all hazardous waste handling guidelines.  
• Maintains tools and equipment and performs various clean-up and housekeeping activities. 
• Responsible for observing and complying with all safety and project rules, including wearing required personal safety equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.
