You will play a vital role in our daily operations by ensuring that plumbing, electrical, and structural elements are in peak condition. Beyond technical repairs, you will serve as a professional role model for the children and adolescents in our care, demonstrating the KVC values of respect, integrity, and accountability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform essential repairs including plumbing, minor electrical work, and furniture, fence, and window restoration.
  • Maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of our facilities through interior painting and ceiling repairs.
  • Construct shelves and other necessary fixtures to support departmental needs.

  • Model professional and courteous behavior, treating all colleagues and stakeholders with respect regardless of background or identity.
  • Ensure all work is conducted in adherence to company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of at least 10th grade is required; a High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
  • Experience: One to three months of related maintenance experience or training.
  • Skills: Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook email) to manage administrative tasks and communication.
  • Licensure: A valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate effectively in English (verbal and written) to conduct official company business.
Why KVC?

We provide a team-oriented environment built on the values of open, honest communication and continuous improvement. We look for staff members who are solutions-focused and build upon their strengths to better serve our community. By joining our maintenance team, you become an essential part of a culture that fuels improvement through collaboration and innovation.
