Job Summary
Physical Therapist (PT) Inpatient (IP) position available at a healthcare facility in the area. This role involves providing inpatient physical therapy services to adult and geriatric patient populations. The therapist will work independently on weekends and be responsible for managing a broad caseload within an acute care setting, demonstrating strong time management skills and clinical expertise.
Job Details
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, starting on 10/05/2026, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, through 01/04/2027
- Required Qualifications: Valid physical therapist license, current BLS certification, at least 2 years of experience in inpatient physical therapy, and experience with adult patient populations
- Preferred Qualifications: Community hospital experience, inpatient and outpatient setting experience, excellent time management skills, and ability to work independently, particularly on weekends
- Additional Information: The role involves providing inpatient physical therapy in a mostly medical-surgical setting, with possible weekend shifts. The therapist will be the sole provider in the acute setting during weekends and must be capable of working independently. Experience with various therapeutic techniques, patient assessments, and discharge planning is preferred.
