Job Summary:
CT Technologist Days This position is located at a busy acute care hospital with a high-volume, fast-paced environment. The role involves performing computed tomography (CT) scans with a focus on adult and pediatric patients, utilizing GE and Toshiba equipment. The technologist will independently manage their workflow, adhere to safety and protocol standards, and may be required to assist with transport and outpatients. The start date is 10/06/2026, with an anticipated end date of 02/09/2027.
Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shift hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Certifications including ARRT CT or ARRT R, BLS, CA CRT; at least 2 years of experience as a CT technologist; valid state license; experience with adult acute care, contrast media administration, and working with GE or Toshiba CT equipment; open to first-time travelers.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience in a high-volume emergency department, stroke center, or similar fast-paced environment; familiarity with electronic charting systems like Epic; certification in Advanced ARRT or additional specialized CT training.
- Additional Information: Must be open to working three out of five major holidays, with some voluntary shifts outside of contracted hours, including nights and graves. Candidate may be asked to do own transport based on staffing needs. Must be able to work independently and efficiently. This position may require floating between units, but not between facilities. RTO requests must be included at submission and are subject to approval. References covering the last 3 years are required, with 2 references needed. Candidate responses to prior experience at Providence facilities and details regarding floating requirements are mandatory.
