Laundry Technician - Creekside

Methodist Retirement Communities (MRC), with a mission to honor and serve older adults as an expression of Christ’s love, does so with eight continuing-care retirement communities in Texas. Affiliated with MRC and located in Huntsville, Creekside Retirement Community, is a leader in continuing care retirement living offering assisted living, memory support, skilled nursing and rehabilitation.

We are currently seeking a Full Time Laundry Technician to: 

• Provide clean and sanitary linens and certain personal laundry items for residents. 
• Process laundry to meet set standards. 
• Clean and sanitize mops, cloths, and related items for the Environmental Services department. 
• Assist with Housekeeping needs in common areas

Schedule/Hours: Monday- Friday 1:30pm-9:30pm

• One year of experience in a service occupation, preferably laundry or housekeeping service, ideally in a healthcare environment or with a geriatric population.
• Knowledge of basic service principles and proper cleaning techniques/methods.
