Customer Service Representative

Do-It Corporation is seeking a customer service representative (CSR) to join our team in South Haven, Michigan. This position will interact with current & potential customers to process orders, provide information, and resolve complaints, all with a focus at cultivating sales and maintaining strong business relationships.

This is an on-site position.

Qualifications

• Education – HS diploma/GED required. Some college-level courses with a focus on business sales/marketing preferred.
• Experience – Work experience in corporate customer service preferred. Work history with inside sales and/or packaging a plus.
• Proficiency in English required. Proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Dependable, eager, self-directed with the ability to multitask and take on additional responsibilities.

Basic Skills

• Communicate effectively - both written and verbal - in a prompt manner
• Computer literacy with a good aptitude in learning new programs/systems
• Detail oriented and proficient in math/numbers
• Customer-centric - excelling at fostering customer satisfaction
• Adept at communicating with other departments within Do-It Corporation

This position is part of our domestic sales team and also serves as back-up for the receptionist. Some marketing tasks will also be included as part of the position.

Hours – 8:30am to 5pm Monday thru Friday
