Human Resources Associate

Role Overview:

The Human Resources Associate supports the Human Resources Director in creating a positive, efficient, and employee-centered workplace. This position serves as the first point of contact for many HR functions and plays a key role in recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, records management, compliance, and customer service while promoting Tri-County Head Start’s mission, vision, core values, and culture.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification may be substituted for degree requirement when combined with relevant Human Resources experience.
  • Experience in ADP or similar HRIS system preferred.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must obtain a valid Driver’s License, proof of insurance, and maintain it throughout the duration of employment.
• Must be cleared & allowed to work in a childcare setting by the Iowa Department of Human Services
