CNC ID/OD Grinder

Location: Canoga Park, CA (Onsite | Aerospace Industry)

Pay: $28 – $35 / hour (Depending on Experience)

Shifts: 1st Shift (6:00 AM start) | 2nd Shift (3:00 PM start)

Equipment: Studer CNC Grinder

Responsibilities

• Machine Setup & Operation: Set up, run, and adjust Studer CNC grinding machines using blueprints and work orders.
• Quality & Inspection: Perform first-part inspections and verify part dimensions using micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
• Troubleshooting: Monitor operations for malfunctions, adjust speeds/feeds/depths, and report issues to supervisors.
• Safety & Support: Follow shop safety rules, complete tasks on schedule, and assist entry-level operators.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of CNC machining or grinding experience.
• Proven ability to set up and operate CNC equipment independently.
• Proficient with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators).
• Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, and blueprint-reading skills.

Preferred Extras

• Machining certificate or vocational training.
• Solid basic math skills and basic computer/MS Office literacy.
• Good communication skills.
