Schedule: Friday through Sunday | 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (1‐hour lunch break)
Pay: $17.00 per hour | Bi‐weekly pay
Reports To: Facilities Supervisor

Position Summary

LJ’s Cleaning Solutions is seeking a motivated, high‐energy Weekend Day Janitorial Cleaner to maintain the cleanliness and sanitation of warehouse and office environments. This role is responsible for ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming facility by adhering to high quality and safety standards. Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, hallways, food service areas, warehouses, and other common areas.
• Perform light floor care duties including sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors.
• Clean surfaces such as light fixtures, vents, walls, furniture, windows, and window coverings.
• Empty and reline all trash receptacles throughout the facility.
• Restock janitorial and restroom supplies as needed.
• Safely and properly use cleaning chemicals in accordance with LJ’s standards.
• Perform routine cleaning of janitorial equipment as required.
• Comply with safety protocols and company procedures at all times.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform repetitive motions daily, including bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and climbing.
• Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds independently (items over 50 pounds require assistance).

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and E‐Verify.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance guidelines, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to apply common‐sense understanding to carry out written, verbal, or diagram‐based instructions.
