Job Title: On-Site Construction Management Representative (CMR)

Location: New River Gorge National Park and Preserve, West Virginia

Job Type: Full-Time (On-site), Contract

Duration: November 2026 through June 2027

Job Summary

We are seeking a Construction Management Representative to provide full-time, on-site quality assurance and administrative management for the National Park Service (NPS). You will support and monitor active site-restoration and demolition work to ensure strict contractor compliance with safety, scheduling, and contract documents.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Site Inspections: Monitor active demolition and restoration work for workmanship, safety, and contract compliance.
• Submittal & RFI Tracking: Log, track, and review technical and Division 1 submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) utilizing ProjectTeam cloud software.
• Meetings & Photo Logs: Facilitate weekly progress meetings and compile organized weekly construction photo files.
• Contract Admin & Labor Standards: Conduct labor standards interviews, review weekly certified payroll logs for Department of Labor compliance, and assist in drafting technical scoping documents for modifications.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Proven construction inspection and supervision experience, specifically including demolition, site restoration and hazardous materials (HAZMAT) abatement.
• Physical Ability: Physically able to climb ladders, walk steep slopes, and navigate active construction zones daily.
• Software Skills: Proficient with MS Office, ProjectTeam, Adobe Acrobat, and scheduling software (Primavera or MS Project).
• Certifications: OSHA 30-hour construction safety training.
