Senior Network Engineer

Description: Success By Design, LLC is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, implement, and support network infrastructure for state agency clients in Maryland. Hybrid, in-office work is project-dependent.
Type: Six-month engagement with potential for permanent conversion.

Responsibilities: Design, implement, and support LAN, WLAN, and WAN network infrastructure; serve as a technical escalation point; lead the design, testing, and implementation of network proposals; troubleshoot infrastructure hardware and network connectivity issues; perform testing and validation of new hardware and code; create and maintain technical and process documentation; participate in an on-call rotation as required.

Required: Ten or more years of network engineering experience; bachelor's degree; JNCIP or CCNP certification; hands-on wireless networking experience; expert-level routing and switching including BGP, OSPF, MPLS, IS-IS, and Spanning Tree; strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work on-site at client locations as projects require; U.S. work authorization without sponsorship.

Preferred: Juniper platform experience; public-sector or state government experience; network automation including Python and Ansible; service provider network experience..
