Senior Craftsperson / Field Supervisor – Residential Repair & Improvement

We're looking for an experienced Senior Craftsperson / Field Supervisor who can combine strong hands-on construction skills with the ability to estimate, plan, and manage larger and more complicated residential projects.

This role is a great fit for someone who has spent years in the trades and has naturally taken on more responsibility — helping plan jobs, communicate with customers, estimate materials and labor, coordinate projects, and make sure work is completed correctly from start to finish.

The Work

You'll handle a mix of hands-on residential work and project-level responsibilities, including:

• Estimating residential repair, maintenance, and improvement projects
• Assessing job sites and determining the scope of work, materials, labor, and time required
• Project managing larger or more complicated residential jobs
• Communicating directly with homeowners regarding project scope, expectations, and progress
• Coordinating job details and helping keep projects on schedule
• Carpentry, trim, doors, framing repairs, and general woodwork
• Drywall patching, texture, and finish work
• Painting and surface repairs
• Light plumbing and electrical repairs and installations
• General residential remodeling and handyman work
• Performing quality control and ensuring work is completed to company standards
• Working independently while knowing when to coordinate with the office or other team members

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of hands-on construction, remodeling, handyman, or maintenance experience
• Experience estimating residential construction or repair projects
• Experience managing or overseeing larger, more complicated jobs
• Strong understanding of multiple residential trades
• Ability to read a job, identify what needs to be done, and develop a practical plan to complete it
• Comfortable communicating professionally with homeowners and explaining project details
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Able to work independently and take ownership of projects from estimate through completion
• Comfortable balancing hands-on work with project management responsibilities
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to quality workmanship
